DAY 1

Main Scripture: Galatians 1:6-10
Bottom Line: Don’t mess with the message. The true Gospel of Grace through Christ is the only message that has the power to genuinely set us free from the burdens of sin and guilt.

Main Points:

  • The True Gospel: Salvation comes through grace alone, not through human works or efforts.

  • Danger of Distortion: Be vigilant and guard against the spread of false teachings that can lead believers astray.

  • Pleasing God, Not People: A genuinely gospel-centered life prioritizes God's approval above all else, rather than seeking the approval of others.

Goal of At Home Work: The aim of this week’s activities is to assist students in diving deeper into the Book of Galatians, fostering their growth in understanding the fundamental truths of the Gospel. Each day features a thoughtfully crafted prompt that will guide leaders in facilitating discussions with their students throughout the week.

Day 1: Read. Write. Mark.
Each week, we dedicate time to carefully read through our text, write out a specific section, and mark the text by underlining, circling, or highlighting words or phrases that stand out to you personally. Today, please take time to read through Galatians chapter 1 thoroughly. After finishing this chapter, write out the verses Galatians 1:6-10, and take note of what particularly stands out to you in the text that you’ve written out.

Leader Challenge: Make it a point to text your students today a clear picture of the text you wrote out. Encourage and invite your students to send back a picture of their own handwritten version of Galatians 1:6-10, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
