Deep Dive- Galatians 4

Main Scripture: Galatians 4:6-7

Bottom Line: As God’s adopted children, we are called to live in freedom, not return to bondage.. 

Main Points: 

• Adoption as Children: Through Christ, we are no longer slaves but sons and daughters. 

• Intimacy with God: The Spirit cries out, “Abba, Father.” 

• Rejecting Bondage: Don’t return to the chains of legalism or sin.  

Goal of At Home Work: To help students dive deeper into the Book of Galatians and to grow in their understanding of the Gospel. Each day includes a prompt for leaders to help lead their students throughout the week.

Each week we will take time to read through our text, write out a section of the text, and mark the text (underline, circle or mark and words or phrases that stand out to you). Today, take time to read Galatians 4. After reading this chapter, write out Galatians 4:6-7, and mark what stands out to you in the text you’ve written out. 

Leader Challenge: Take time to text your students today a picture of the text you wrote out. Encourage students to send a picture of Galatians 4:6-7 written out.
